From CHalep Hill via NY State. All three members, originally from New York (Strong Island & yUp-state), met in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Over lunch one day, Allison said to Chris, "We should start a band." After two rehearsals, things sounded pretty good. A few weeks later, John said to Chris, "I heard you have a new project. Who's playing drums?" "You," responded Chris.
