ADF 6 Weeks Big Party

Every summer hundreds of dancers descend on Duke’s East Campus for the American Dance Festival. Artists from around the world gather to share creative energy, learn from each other and broaden their dance horizons. The American Dance Festival also offers an MFA in Dance in partnership with Hollins University. The MFA students present their thesis concerts while at the ADF and graduate at the completion of the festival.

After six weeks of sweating it out in classes, rehearsals and performances it’s time to celebrate! We will honor the MFA graduates in a private gathering from 10:00 PM - 11:00 PM, then open up the space to the ADF community as well anyone who wants to tear up the dance floor with us. Featuring music by DJ Birdgehrl.
