Celebrating Durham and Supporting Live Blues Music…
The Ramble is an exciting new, free blues event just North of Downtown!
Join us in supporting Downtown Durham and North Carolinas greater blues music community!
The Ramble will take place on Oct 4th, 2026 between Pickleback 2, Motorco and the Blue Note Grill;
Outdoor stages hosted by Geerhouse Apartments and Wye Junction, featuring some of the best local and regional blues acts, including Blues Society Challenge Winners Mama, Carolina Rhythm Section, and Jon Shain, as well as a youth showcase, a tribute to the late Skeeter Brandon and an end of the night open blues jam.
Presented in conjunction with Move-A Bull City and Bike Durham.

Our policies are the following:
- We will not offer refunds to any show unless there is a cancellation or postponement of the headlining act (opening acts subject to change without notice).
- For the safety of people at the Event, the venue management and the Organiser reserve the right to refuse admission and conduct security searches as they deem appropriate.
- We reserve the right to refuse admission or to eject any person appearing to be intoxicated, under the influence of drugs, showing signs of COVID-19 including a high temperature or a persistent cough, refusing to wear a mask when required to do so, otherwise behaving dangerously or inappropriately, or for any other behavior likely to cause damage, injury, nuisance and annoyance or for failure to comply with the reasonable request of our staff.
- We will not tolerate harassment of any kind on our premises. You will be asked to leave and/or physically removed from our premises if we determine that your behavior is negatively impacting any member of our staff or any other patrons. This includes, but is not limited to pushing, shoving (moshing), crowd surfing, stage diving or any kind of unwelcome touching of or contact with other patrons, staff or performers.
- We do not accept any responsibility for any loss or damage to personal property brought to the Event.
- We request - but do not currently require - that everyone attending a show be vaccinated against COVID-19.
- Do not attend any event if experiencing any symptoms such as fever, cough or loss of taste/smell
- We suggest the patrons wear masks in the indoor spaces at Motorco and Parts&Labor
