Self-proclaimed “Hip-Pop” artist Icey Da Boss (founder of The Energy Ent. Platform) is an energetic rapper with a futuristic sound reminiscent of rap powerhouses like Lil Wayne and Young Thug. After releasing several mixtapes, Icey Da Boss released his first album, “Me vs. You” in 2018. In 2019, he was nominated for “Best New Artist” by The Carolina Music Awards. He has performed at venues and showcases all over North Carolina, various showcases in different parts of the US, and in his very own concert series: “The Energy.” He has also opened for a few major acts such as KCamp, Dizzy Wright, Soulja Boy and more. His second official album “ONEGAWD” was released summer 2020, and Icey’s new breakout album “ You Wouldn’t Understand” was released April 2022 followed up by the December album release of “Nobody Likes Me.
